Mission Statement:

The Women’s Inter-Church Council of Toronto is a Christian’s women’s council that encourages women to grow in ecumenism, to share their spirituality and prayer and to engage in dialogue about women’s concerns. The council calls women, men, and youth to respond to issues affecting women and to take action for justice.

Our Impact:

As we emerge from the restrictive impact of COVID, a decision was made to focus on generating and promoting World Day of Prayer services for 2024. Toronto has a population of almost three million citizens, and so the opportunity to gather with others throughout the city for World Day of Prayer in March is great.

Upcoming Events/Meetings

Leaside Presbyterian Church.  New members are welcome.

Prayer Corner:

“In the silence of the heart God speaks. If you face God in prayer and silence, God will speak to you. Then you will know that you are nothing. It is only when you realize your nothingness, your emptiness, that God can fill you with Himself. Souls of prayer are souls of great silence.”

Mother Teresa
