A 55-minute video of the World Day of Prayer 2023 service, featuring women and men from across Canada, has been created to view at home and in churches. It is based on the worship bulletin prepared by the women of Taiwan and then presented by the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada.
The video contents include:
- Closed captioning in English for all speaking and singing content. Some prayers and scripture are offered in both French and English.
- Two dynamic worship leaders
- A devotional message from Cathy Reid
- Background content from Taiwan
- Prayers, stories from Taiwanese women, and a devotional based on Ephesians 1: 15-19
- Familiar hymns performed by The Salvation Army MAGA team, a talented east coast mother and son, and a young aspiring opera singer who sang in memory of her grandmother, a strong WDP supporter
- A promo of Kids Pray Too!
- A liturgical dance based on the World Day of Prayer 2023 scripture
- An opportunity to reflect
- An opportunity to donate
- Pictures from 2022 WDP services and celebrations across Canada and the world
