About Us

The Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada (WICC) is Canada’s oldest national ecumenical council, with representatives from 10 church partners, focusing on bringing hope to women touched by injustice.

The annual World Day of Prayer and the Fellowship of the Least Coin movement for peace and reconciliation are both coordinated by WICC in Canada. Through Grant Programs, WICC assists vulnerable women and children by supporting grassroots work in Canada and worldwide. We are also dedicated to ending gender-based violence.
